The Fannish Comic Book Library at Con.Txt
The Fannish Comic Book Library (slash edition) has come to Con.Txt! Gay, slashable and femslashable comics and manga will be available to read in the con suite.
If you have comics you would like to loan and share through the library during Con.Txt that would be wonderful!
If you are interested in possibly volunteering your time as a comic book librarian, even for as little as a half an hour please let us know! Just comment here or email Grey Bard.
The job is easy and fun. Simply hang out in the con suite at an arranged time, make sure no one accidently walks off with or throws out any of the comic books, and possibly recommend or talk about comics with your fellow con-goers if you feel like it and they are interested.
You can even volunteer on the spur of the moment or on a whim while at Con.txt itself! Simply tell the current librarian or Grey Bard that you're interested, and we'll hook you up immediately.
If you want to loan the library comics
Comics, indie comics, manga, light novels, fancomics, and doujinshi all welcome.
Simply bring your books to the Fannish Comic Book Library in the con suite, or find Grey Bard, and we'll check your book in. Then, when you wish to regain your books, simply return to the library, show your badge, and they will be returned to you.
All comics will remain under the watchful eye of a librarian at all times or inside a locked private room. However, paper comics are fragile and popular comics may be read often, so please consider this before loaning your rare, delicate, or one of a kind comics.
If you are considering bringing a comic, please check the library catalog post for your own convenience to make sure you don't waste luggage space on a book that is already going to be there.

Digital Comics
Arrangements may be made for digital comics depending on availability and interest. If you are interested in reading or contributing digital comics at Con.Txt through the Fannish Comic Book Library, please contact Grey Bard or comment here.
